Audit Literacy Program

We survey the least literate village and adopt it and teach the whole community to read and write. Within a year an individual is taught to read the Bible and do basic mathematical operation. And in five years we reach the entire village with the Literacy Program.

Caring for widows

As in the early Churches, we give importance to the widows and provide them with the necessities. At present we give financial support and take care of 400 widows and help them with old age pension and other essential needs for their daily life.

Incom Generating Program

The community that we work with is full of battered wives and drunkard husbands, and we teach the housewives how to produce candles, phenyl, soap powder, petroleum jelly and Tailoring and help them produce income out of it. “We don’t give them fish, but we teach them how to fish a fish”.

Relief Work

During the times of natural calamity like rain havoc and earthquake we stretch our hands to reach and help them out as much as we could with Tin roofs, Blankets, vessels and other provisions.

Aids Awareness and Health Camps

Half of all new HIV infection in the world is between 15-24 years. Less than 20% of young people have correct knowledge to protect themselves. Main reason for this is lack of knowledge of Sex and Sexuality, Reproductive Health, STI & HIV / AIDS Prevention. It has been observed that people do not get correct knowledge which can prepare & equip them in making responsible & correct choices when it comes to sexual behaviour. With this in mind we have conducted AIDS Awareness programmes in the villages and also in Urban Bangalore.
